I put up a roof top antenna , connected it to my Samsung HL-T5687 and get all the locals in HD (looks great!). When I try to run the OTA signal through my Directv HR -20 it shows no signal strenth at all even after I ran the antenna set up again. I read in another forum that the Directv HR -20 looks for specific signals and does not tune (search) for the OTA signals.

I watch locals for 95% of my TV viewing, and was thinking of replacing Direct TV with my OTA antenna and a new TIVO III box. Does anybody know if the TIVO tuner is like the one in my TV (works with my OTA antenna) or my Directv HR-20 (doesn’t get any OTA channels). Any help here is appreciated.
